Santa Clara, incorporated on July 5, 1852, is a vibrant city located in the heart of Silicon Valley. Known as "The Mission City," it was originally founded in 1777 with the establishment of Mission Santa Clara de Asís. Today, Santa Clara is home to major tech companies like Intel, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), and Nvidia, as well as Santa Clara University—the oldest institution of higher learning in California. The city also hosts Levi's Stadium, the home of the San Francisco 49ers, and California's Great America theme park.
